Organization
For a production organization we’re looking for an Account Manager. Customers are among the global biggest owners in the food. This person reports to the Managing Director.
Tasks and responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of accounts
Using an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business leading
Leading project management activity
Ensuring necessary actions are undertaken by the account team
Achieving sales targets
Delivering sales presentations to high-level executives
Attending client meetings
Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients
Completing administrative work, as required.
Profile
- Bachelor, preferably commerce or likewise
- At least 3 years of external sales experience with accounts with international focus
- Experience in production companies and a good feeling for technique
- Knowledge of food and retail companies
- Fluent in Dutch, English and German both verbal and in written
- Analytical, negotiation and communication skills
- Operational effectiveness: Investigating, analyzing, calculating and fundamental way of working, risk management and contract management
- Precise, structured way of working, good organization of documents and discipline
- Being able to take a helicopter view
